| | Ongoing classes and workshops relating to taichi, Qigong offered through various park district, health club, retirement communities and private wellnes programs for local employers. In addition, I am a certified Medicinal Herbalist with training and clinical experience in both Chinese and Western herbs and nutrition. I integrate all these practices into my work and see private/group classes. |

Biography: |
I began practicing QiGong in 1992 as a process of recovering from a serious back injury. Since that time I have studied with many teachers, most notably--Ken Cohen, Yang Jwing Ming, Waysun Liao, Franck & Luke Chan and Kam Yuen. I have been certified as ChiLel instructor. My area of interest is personal transformation through energy awareness. I bring gentle healing strategies combining breath, movement, imagery to all levels of ability. I am also certified as a Therapeutic Tai Chi in a Chair instructor and have various experience teaching chair-based taichi and qigong to disabled and elderly populations.
