| | As a mental health counselor I engage in Martial Mental Health - by utilizing a blend of martial arts and Chinese medicinal practices I support individual who have experienced trauma to move through distinct stages of heightened self-awareness and cultivate healing from the body to the mind, from the inside out. The goal is to motivate people to move beyond their traumatic experiences and feel more competent, safer and to remove the sense of shame that may come from their experiences. |

Biography: |
Kevin Perline, MA, MMA, CLS: I am a mental health counselor with a strong focus on working with people who have experienced trauma. I am both a somatic practitioner and specialize in cognitive linguistics--how we use words to make meaning. I have also been a student of martial arts since 1973. My trainings include qigong, nei-gong, kenpo, wing chun, jui jitsu and tang soo do, yoga.
