| I am interested in continuing to teach classes within my holistically oriented psychotherapy practice as well as in the community, servicing all age groups. My emphasis is on helping people to utilize QiGong as a self-healing resource to promote balance in their lives and reduce the unnecessary energy that goes into holding excess tension. |
Biography: |
I have been a practicing psychotherapist for twenty five years. I believe in a holistic intervention philosophy, working in a systemic fashion, incorporating various modalities that can help people help themselves while being able to integrate various approaches to health and well being that they themselves construct and keep cultivating. I have trained and researched many areas of stress management from different fields of study, synthesizing this with how our interaction in various relationships can best fulfill people's conceptions of their missions on earth. Over the last half decade, I had additionally trained in a Korean form of QiGong called Dahn Hak. I recently participated in participating with a fellow Dahn Hak student to translate two books for English speaking populations on Dahn Hak methods, written by the originator of Dahn Hak. These books have been published and are now available to the public. It is very important to me when i am conducting classes to ensure that the cultivation of the practice is customized as best as possible for the individual's particular agenda for attending.
