Qigong is the meditative art of conscious embodiment. The practice of Qigong recognizes, honors, cultivates and nourishes the ‘energy’ aspect of our being. Qigong is a complete meditative practice in itself and is also a perfect complement to any traditional sitting meditation practice, and has a long and well-established history, found in many contemplative traditions, of empowering meditators with calm clear energy, strength and vibrant health - bringing peace to the heart and spirit.
Biography:
Teja Bell is a master teacher of Qigong and energy awareness in harmony with the Dharma. Teja — a Zen Priest and Aikido Sensei — practices Dharma across the Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions. As an accomplished martial artist and teacher in Aikido and the Chinese Internal Arts, and an ordained Rinzai Zen priest, he teaches the essence of Qigong and its connection with Meditation. At the source of these arts is the energetic healing practices known as Qigong or "energy work".

Qigong is the meditative art of conscious embodiment. It recognizes, honors, cultivates and nourishes the ‘energy’ matrix of our being. Qigong perfectly complements any sitting meditation practice, and has a long and well-established history found in many contemplative traditions. Qigong empowers meditators with calm clear energy, strength and vibrant health - bringing peace to the heart and spirit.

Teja’s way of introducing qigong to both beginners and experienced practitioners is joyful and empowering. His transmission of Qigong as meditative presence in movement and stillness is beneficial to Dharma practitioners and all those who use movement as meditative practice to enhance well-being. The practice is simple to learn and profound in its effect.

Qigong helps to create well-being, and is simple to learn and easy to remember. Meditation opens our hearts and minds to the realization of our true nature.
