Biography: |
I've been doing Soaring Crane Qigong since 1991. In 1996 and 1998 I went to China with Chen Hui-xian to learn Essence Qigong and advanced Qigong theories. In 1997 I was certified by Chen Fu-yin to teach Essence and in 1998 I completed the Soaring Crane Teacher Training program at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland OR that was run by Chen Hui-xian. Since then I've made several trips back to Portland to advance my Qigong training with Chen Hui-xian.
I've been doing Tai Chi since 1987 and learned a unique version of the Yang Style from Alex Wasil at Wing Sing School of Martial Arts. Alex Wasil certified me to teach Tai Chi in 1990 and he is the head of the Kwan Ying Do system of martial arts that was started by Feeman Ong. In 1998 as an independent contractor I started teaching Tai Chi full time at other locations in the community. In addition I have also been taking Kung Fu at Wing Sing since 1991.
